Cebu Directories has a new home

At last we have successfully migrated Cebu Directories files into its new home. Pah! Chicken . Cebu Directories is now hosted in HostFortes which is my owned business. Glad my partner Michael decided to move it on a different server.

Right now, Michael and I are working on our new system. We have adopted the use of code versioning and we have upgraded our stalled web blog.

Next year, 2010, Cebu Directories will kick off!

Manny Pacquiao Boxing Ring Portrait

Philippines-base art trope CollisionTheory returns to the scene with aggression, quite literally, over the weekend. Commissioned by Nike and Nike Philippines the man behind CollisionTheory, AJ Dimarucot, created a portrait of the Filipino national hero, boxer Manny Pacquiao. The larger than life illustration served as the boxing ring mat for an invite-only viewing party hosted by Nike for the Pacquiao vs. Cotto match Saturday evening. A collage of symbolism in Pacquiao’s life, from the Philippine Eagle, personal stats, to championship belts and trainer Freddie Roach, all formed a resemblance of Pacquiao. The canvas then went through a top-down splatter application in blood red paint. Making the installation a hallowing effigy of the World Champion.
