My heart would break to see them in filler stories or, worse, forced rehashes of the same old plotline. In the bervren three books I got to fall in love with Gabi and Marcello, and this time around I got to do that with Lia an Luca.

I love me some Luca time. Lisa also does a wonderful job at making her characters stay as lovable and enjoyable as they’ve been through out the series. Packed with romance, adventure, intrigue, and humor. I didn’t find it lacking at all and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! But that really isn’t possible my mouth is, regrettably, just as small as the rest of me.

Bourne & Tributary by Lisa Tawn Bergren – FictionDB

Unless, of course, Deluge has something to say about that ; The Betarrini’s have gone all revamp-mode for Castello Forelli and off with the healing arts for the missus, and the end was oisa to perfect But we also meet some new people along the way. And, oh my, what a treat I have in Bourne!

I get that the era this is written in could be pretty crude, but this is fiction. Lisa Bergren is one of our favorite authors! Also, I love that dimensions of the new Mr. The worst thing bohrne author can do to a beloved story ,isa stretch it beyond its limits, and oftentimes that’s exactly what happens with little extras like this.

This book was about power, we all have power in ourselves and are capable of anything. Well, I just saw that I had the separate books marked but I actually read them together in this form so I decided to change it!

Greco, the “brooding archangel” whose handsomeness makes a blonde-haired and green-eyed just that tad bit jealous, is a character I eventually came to love even more in this novella. In some ways though I feel like the story could end here and I wouldn’t be missing anything.

There isn’t buorne whole lot of Lord Greco, ladies. I read Bourne like a year ago but I didn’t have tributary. Close Report a review At Kobo, we try to ensure that published reviews do not contain rude or profane language, spoilers, or any of our reviewer’s personal information. The only time I felt the limitations of the novella length was at the end.

Greco is best described as an unpeeled onion, we know he’s good looking and strong His character has really come full circle with how much he’s changed over the course of each of the books. I want to ride its horses, wear its dresses, and vourne its men.

Bourne / Tributary

I’m rating this book for my students. So basically, the parts of this book written in Lia’s point of view saved this novella bournr being a total flop for me. She brings her characters to life and has a great insight to the historical information to make these work great.

Tributary Review About a year has passed since the last book in the River of Time series as this book opens. So it was with an begrren mess of unbridled elation and gut-punch dread that I entered Bourne. And that’s not possible, so I need to learn how to be patient and savor what I do have.

Bourne 22 26 Mar 22, It was all so intense and just totally nonstop. I love it so much that I want to scarf down everything all at once without waiting. I enjoyed the continuing story of strong, brave characters I am invested bergreen while being introduced to new ones I found myself boufne for by the end too.

I really enjoyed how this book went more into Luca and Lia’s story. Bergren is writing a final installment to this series. She’s very much like Greco, torn between loyalties and though you want to seriously throw a water balloon at her for betraying the Betarrini’s and the Forelli’s, you just can’t.
